Our new transmitter is here!

Our new transmitter is now installed, and word on the street is our broadcast signal is coming in better than ever in Central Oregon.

Many thanks to our supporters who made it possible, including The Collins Foundation, Deschutes County Discretionary Fund, The Old Mill District, and several generous individuals.

Thanks also to our tech crew for getting the installation done and all our volunteers, supporters, and listeners. We would not be here without you.

New Date and Time for Rhythm Trip and Fond Farewell to The Good Stuff

Beginning Tuesday, December 4, DJ Thure will be bringing the live edition of his world music show Rhythm Trip to Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. For those who love it on Saturday at 6:00 pm, never fear. We will be replaying Rhythm Trip then as well.

We do say a sad and fond farewell to The Good Stuff. DJ Harry Godsil retired from KPOV in June and we have been airing encore editions since then.  For the time being, you can still hear encore versions of The Good Stuff Saturday Mornings at 6:00 a.m.

New Show — New York Philharmonic This Week!

We know many of you love classical music, so KPOV is expanding our selection. We are proud to offer our listeners New York Philharmonic This Week, a weekly series of the best in classical music from one of the world’s longest-running and most celebrated orchestras.  New York Philharmonic This Week will air Sundays at Noon.

Combined with Sunday Classics at 10:00 a.m., you can sit back and enjoy hours of great classical music right here on your favorite station.

KPOV broadcasts City Club monthly luncheon forums
